The institution plans to initiate academic collaboration with academic institutions by providing a Mentorship program to final year students or providing Mphil and PhD Scholarships to research students interested in working in research projects defined by the institution. We also provide Fellowships to senior scholars who wish to undertake research in their project of interest.
The institution would be collaborating with the industry in turning prototypes in to actual products/applications which complies with industrial standards. We would obtain expert consultancy services from people in the industry to build our opensource platform of Tamil NLP tools.
Funding for research related activities could be arranged from various sources. We plan to collect individual funding from individuals who are interested in helping the institution. We also plan to apply for research grants mainly from higher education funding agencies.
